So I decided to see what it looks like on PC after installing and when I get into the game I cannot open the menu? The usual controller button just seems to toggle the cursor and even pressing everything on my keyboard/controller no menu pops up. Assuming there is a setting I have to enable/disable somewhere but no clue.
