I was watching a stream today and a seller was trying to auction off a random piece of clothing but forgot to change the link from a pricier item (Comfrt Blanket). The blanket had previously gone for about $80 and had a designated link.
The seller then began auctioning off a jumpsuit that went for $9 but forgot to swap the link, so the buyer won the auction for the jumpsuit on the Comfrt blanket link.
The seller was immediately upset and asked the buyer to cancel on her end bc of the mistake. I was sooo confused bc they 100% had more blankets to auction and it was their fault for running the wrong link- shouldn't they have cancelled it on their end? The buyer was saying it would charge her and dock her shop, but shouldn't they either honor the sale or cancel it on their end?
That's just my opinion, but what do you think is right?
