PSA: something I wish I knew about Babymoons before I booked mine
Travel before the 24 week viability period.
I was just diagnosed with placenta previa and the only consideration regarding my upcoming travel my doctor gave me was that the timing is not ideal since I’ll be abroad for 1 week after I reach the viability of 24 weeks, so if anything were to happen and they had to take the baby out, I would be far away from my primary hospital and tertiary NICU.
Do with that information what you wish, but it’s something I wish she had told me about prior, as it is easily a consideration regardless of any condition like placenta previa.
