Hi guys. New account so I don’t have pics up of my rig, but it’s a 99 2.7l 5 speed manual (fully redone interior :D) 2” lift and 33 ATs and tundra brakes.

Point of the post… Just drove it up from Iowa to Alaska in April (I moved). Owned vehicle since 2020 and 250k miles. Problem is during the drive I spent a good chunk in 4wd Hi through snow storms, and at low speed. Now the car still drives fine but at low rpm (600-1000) there will be a clunking noise. I’m relatively certain it’s my front drive shaft. It makes noise if I whack it with a rubber mallet but I haven’t taken that off yet. The part is like $500 so I was hoping anyone had diagnosis tips before I get the part.
