2.5 years after surgery. Still working on it. Necrosis, keloid, etc have all affected the journey. Should I tattoo the side with the lost nipple?

Had surgery 2.5 years ago. A revision 1.5 years ago and now left with this. First photo is now, second photo is pre-OP. Had a series of complications that resulted in nipple necrosis on my left side leaving what you see here and a scar revision gone wrong on the right that resulted in this keloid. I’ve been taking steroid injections for the keloid, but this is the result as it stands.

Considering a 3D nipple tattoo per my surgeons recommendation, but I can’t find anyone who has before and afters of a case like this.

Also, any experience with a keloid/stubborn hypertrophic scar in this spot? The size has gone down with the steroids, but the pink discoloration is still present.
