As the heading says I can’t drink alcohol (recovering alcoholic), not even a drop, and I’m starting at a fine dining restaurant where I will be heavily tested on a wine list of over 100 bottles. They told me I would be doing a tasting to better learn and sell. I haven’t told them I can’t drink yet and am worried about that, but also does anyone have any tips for memorizing long wine lists without much experience in wine?
