My mom had her knee replaced two days ago and I am taking over her care today. Any advice on how best to make sure she's comfortable and we stay ahead of the pain? I've got a schedule/alarms for her medicine day and night. She's being so brave and is doing the assigned exercises as best she can, but I'm worried about her because her teeth have been chattering on and off. Her leg is hard and warm to the touch. They're not letting her take her anti-inflammatory because apparently something was off about her kidney levels. It's making me nervous. I love her so much and have never seen her so unable to function before 😥. (A nurse is coming within the next 12 hours and we will tell them about the chattering/hardness.) Anything I can do to make her recovery better?
