Worth getting real estate license to sell family properties?

I apologize if this is a ridiculous question. I am naive to how licensing works but from what I have gleaned, it doesn't take much to get real estate license (6-24months of online courses).

My question is, if afforded the time, would it be worthwhile for a family member to get their license just to list family properties as they need to be sold (ie. older generation passing, moving, etc.) to save on the commission and headache of dealing with a stranger?

For sake of example, 8 properties over 10-20 years

Edit to clarify: I'm referring to properties that are inherited. I wouldn't making family members active clients.

I want to spend better time with my kids. I don't want to hire childcare, nanny, etc. I would like to outsource something(s) though. What other things are the most helpful/valuable to hire professional help with. As it stands I do everything and it's absolutely not sustainable anymore.

-cleaning

-cooking

-yardwork

-shopping (groceries, kids stuff, errands, etc.)

-walking dogs

What makes the most sense or what have you hired someone to do that made the biggest difference for you? Helpful to include rough cost if you don't mind sharing!
