2009 GTR key issue
Hi,
Just encountered an issue with my 2009 GTR R35. It has been flashed with Ecutek. Previous owner lost one key and I finally got around to getting a replacement.
Car was running fine prior to this situation. The guy (not from Nissan) initiates the programming of the 2nd key but the programming stops midway because of low battery <12v. We can no longer continue programming so we take out the battery to charge it and try again the next day.
The next day - battery is fully charged and programming completes successfully but the car does not start with either key. Lock unlock functions of both keys don't work. The lock unlock door buttons also do not work.
I also flashed the ecu back to stock and he repeated the process but no improvement.
When either key is inserted in the slot, the car is able to go to the ON position (ACC is skipped) but pressing the button again even with my foot on the brake shuts off the car. No start and no crank. Removing the key from the slot turns off power to the car. This is an issue with both keys. No key icon on the dash. I am not sure what the issue is but we are thinking it might be the immobilizer.
Picture of the dash is attached (car in ON position). Would like to get more insight. Hoping someone can shed some light on what the issue might be.
Thank you!
