I just got a letter from EI saying that because i didnt report the $156 i earned from a job i was at for one day in 2024.( i left after that day because i had gotten an offer for a job in my field, which ended up being a scam. They know this.)
The letter states that they're imposing a penalty of $1,692. I'm VERY confused? how does that make any sense? THAT much for a mistake? I don't know what to do. i havent been on EI ina long time and have been on OW and only recently got a new job that i've been at for over a month.

I placed a grocery order. it took an hour and a half. One item was out of order and i told them i'd get it elsewhere. After checking out, the dasher cancelled the order. wtf??
