Pref Round Confusion - 1 house vs SIP?
My sister is currently rushing at a SEC school. I was not in a sorority & am trying to understand how this all works to support her during pref round & bid day. My question is as follows…
Let’s say I am rushing. For pref round I get back 1 house only. I go to the house and rank / vote for it. Do I automatically get a bid? Or is this the same as suicide bidding (SIP)?
Furthermore, if I am not guaranteed a bid for the 1 house only situation… is it possible that a girl would get a bid over me that got back 2 houses and had my potential house second? Let’s say she was ranked low by both sororities and I am ranked above her in the one house I got back for pref. If so, why should she get the bid over me?
Please someone make it make sense!!!
