Baby won’t go in cot.. I’m at a loss
My girl is nearly 6 months old now and since about 3.5 months she has just refused to go in the crib. She does 30-60 minute naps in it during the day with little problem but at night it’s a serious battle. She’s been co sleeping with me pretty much every night since she began refusing because there just isn’t another way. It’s a next to me crib, and I will literally half climb in it with her to help her soothe and she still just won’t. For her, there’s no such thing as ‘drowsy but awake’ because she just cries and cries the second I put her down in it. I feel like I’ve tried all the methods, but mo matter what I do she just cries… and even when I do manage to get her to finally sleep, she won’t stay in it for longer than an hour at max.
I love her deeply and I don’t mind co sleeping too much, but I can’t do it forever and I don’t know how to break this habit, anyone got any ideas??
