Partner of 13 year seems indifferent about separation. How do I handle this?
My partner never really tried at all to fix any issues, and he keeps repeating that he was unhappy -- which is contradicting as hell. He gave up after one therapy session and has no solution to how he will fix his problems moving forward. I believe he is struggling with a big deal with depression, but he will not open to anybody and has pushed everyone away. I love him deeply and did not want this, but he has given me no choice.
Our son (12) and I will be moving out next week, and it appears my partner doesn't care. He says the space will be good for us and that he wants to be alone. It's like he discarded us for his own reasons.
I am really struggling and have been crying A LOT. If anyone has gone through similar, how did you navigate the situation?
