I watched a donghua about three years ago in YouTube , and I’ve been trying to remember its name, but I just can’t find it anywhere. I was hoping someone here might recognize it!
Here’s what I remember about the plot: • The male lead is a very rich, wealthy, and famous person. • He gets into an accident and becomes blind. • A kind-hearted girl rescues him and takes care of him while he’s blind. They slowly fall in love. • He eventually decides to undergo eye surgery to regain his eyesight. • However, the girl’s family forces her away and replaces her with her stepsister. • After the surgery, the male lead believes that the evil stepsister is the one who loved and cared for him. • The climax of the movie is when he realizes the truth—that the girl who truly loved him was someone else—and he finds her again.
I’m pretty sure it was a donghua, not a live-action film. I watched it around three years ago, but it could have been released earlier.
