Hi there, I'm very new to sewing, so sorry if anything isnt the right term...but I wanted to down size this dress in the picture. It has 2 symmetrical panels on either side, so I was going to remove one from either side to bring it in. I would probably remove panel B (colour coded in the images) and connect the remaining fabric. However, I think the fabric for the sleeve will bunch up as the panels connect flat at the pit of the arm. How could I go about this project in a way that would solve or mitigate this issue?

I have included the full dress from the front in case anyone is familiar with the pattern, an image with the 2 panels laid flat, and a colour coded image for a visual of which panel I might remove.

Thank you in advance! (I'm also going to do embroidery over that dang stain)
