Why are Maldivian men like this?

I'm honestly so tired of Maldivian men. This is obviously based on my own experience, but the pattern is getting ridiculous.
It feels like so many Maldivian men want the benefits of a relationship without actually wanting commitment. They want attention, loyalty, affection, emotional support and someone who is always there for them, but when it comes to actually giving stability or talking seriously about marriage and a future, suddenly they don't know what they want.
They pull you in, push you away, disappear, come back whenever they feel like it, and expect you to still be there waiting. Then when you finally react to being treated like that, you're "too emotional."
Like, what exactly am I supposed to react with? A PowerPoint presentation?
And I find the whole traditional expectation here interesting too. For generations, men were expected to provide while women stayed home and took care of the family. Women didn't always have the same opportunities for education, careers and independence. Now women are working, studying and becoming financially independent, but some men still expect women to do all the emotional work, household work and relationship maintenance while also contributing financially.
And somehow we're still supposed to make the man feel like he's the provider.
A lot of the men I've met also seem incredibly immature. They gossip, get offended easily, can't communicate properly, don't take accountability, and create unnecessary drama, then somehow women are called the emotional ones.
And when it comes to marriage, it genuinely feels like finding a Maldivian man who actually wants to settle down, have a family and build a stable future is ridiculously difficult. So many seem to want a relationship with no clear future, no real commitment and no responsibility.
Maybe I've just had an absolutely terrible sample of Maldivian men, but after seeing the same behaviour repeatedly, it's hard not to become cynical.
Where are the Maldivian men who actually want to be husbands and build a family?
