I (23F) constantly worry my bf (23m) is a predator
I (23F) struggle severely with ROCD intrusive thoughts. My boyfriend (23M) is great. In his past he kissed a 16 year old when he was 19 and then in our relationship he followed a girl 5 years younger than him. He said he just knew of her from school and has never talked to her. She has a twin sister and he says he thinks he followed her awhile back but couldn’t remember. He unfollowed the one he was following. This was a few months ago. We have been struggling with trust from one lie he told me 6 months ago (I’m crazy) so he’s ridiculously honest. he told me yesterday he remembered he did follow her, she posted her boyfriend, and then unfollowed her. In my head, men unfollow girls when they see they’re in a relationship because that door is closed romantically. I can’t see it any other way and now I have stuck in my head he’s been attracted to these two girls for the past 5 years and trying to get with them. (he’s followed them since 2021). I feel I’m overreacting but my brain doesn’t let me determine that.
