I wrote my final exam while I was extremely sick because I wasn’t getting responses to my emails at the time. I had a very high fever and also a bad hand injury during the exam period. After writing the exam, I submitted a deferred/special consideration request with documentation, and it ended up getting approved.
Right now I’m confused about what usually happens next. Does the approved deferral basically replace the exam I already wrote? Would I normally get another chance to write the exam during the special exam period/summer?
I currently have a 38% in the course and really need the credit, so I’m trying to understand how this process works at Western.
Has anyone gone through something similar before?
