Hello, I was recently given my Royal Quiet De Luxe typewriter. The only problem I’m having is that each letter has rather faint letters, in which I have to press extremely hard on to actually hear the “tacking” sound of your stereotypical typewriter. Even when I do, there is an inconsistency on the quality of each letter. I’m very new to this and would love some tips on how to fix this, thank you!
