Tod Kar Dil Mera: Sympathy For Raj Why? 😭

I stopped watching after a point because Raj’s character genuinely became unbearable for me, but then I saw the recent episodes again and now they’re trying to reunite Raj and Roshni like nothing happened .

This man cheated on her, abandoned her during pregnancy, didn’t even reach the hospital because he was with another woman, didn’t even want the child at one point and even threatened Roshni . He was also involved in corruption and black money despite being an IAS officer. Most of Roshni’s suffering literally started because of him and still the story feels like it wants viewers to sympathize with Raj .

Why are toxic male leads always glorified like this in ITV? They can cheat, betray, lie, disrespect the female lead, ruin her life and eventually the story still pushes the idea that the female lead will accept him anyway.

Why can’t ITV writers just let female leads grow independently for once? A female lead moving on, healing, becoming stronger on her own, and choosing herself would honestly be far more refreshing than another forced reunion arc.

Hotstar calling this track “Aadha Vanvas” is genuinely absurd to me 😭 “Vanvas” is such a deeply meaningful and respected word associated with sacrifice and exile, and they’re using it for a man who cheated, abandoned his pregnant wife, threatened her and was involved in corruption and black money? Like what exactly are viewers supposed to sympathize with here?

I know that Advait, played by Rohit Purohit, was shown in a negative light in Udaariyaan Season 2, and I’m not defending his actions at all.

But honestly, I just really loved the chemistry between him and Nehmat, played by Twinkle Arora. For me, their dynamic had that perfect haters-to-lovers vibe and I truly felt they had the potential to turn into something deeper. Even though the story didn’t go in that direction, their chemistry alone made their scenes so enjoyable for me. I really hope we get to see them together again in the future , they’re honestly such an underrated pair.
