Anyone else start crying profusely for seemingly no reason?

I accidentally quit nicotine cold turkey recently (financial emergency left me flat broke, literally) and I think the worst thing about it is how I would just burst into tears out of nowhere over and over again throughout the day. Every slight inconvenience or even mildly sad video I saw while doomscrolling would literally make me start sobbing.

It's like I have a complete inability to regulate my emotions without nicotine. I'm not gonna lie, I eventually found something to sell to get a new vape because I'm also in the process of moving/renovating right now, and I don't have time to cry all day. It's been a wake-up call, though. I'm not going cold turkey again, but I'm definitely gonna taper my usage and eventually quit for real.

Edit: Also, I just realized it was my first time in nearly 16 years that I went over a day without nicotine. 😩

My doc said I have to quit caffeine before receiving further treatment

I know he means well, but I'm upset about it. I have to taper down from 500 mg of caffeine per day within a month before pursuing further treatment. He wants to see if my sleep will improve, but I know it won't. I've been falling asleep anywhere and everywhere I can since I was a little kid.

Lord help me, y'all. I'm scared to make this change. I already only have enough time in the day to work, eat, and sleep as much as my body demands. And I have to move houses next month. FML.

I made a new friend today!

It's the western eyed sphinx moth, I believe. Can anyone tell me if my ID is correct? Location is northwestern Montana.
