I m trying to use my phone as a key on my new 2026 bZ4X FWD PLUS, but having a hard time getting it to work seamlessly. It frequently asks me to redownload the digital key while Im standing outside, and walking up to the car doesnt automatically unlock it if my phone is in my pocket. I usually have to open the Toyota app and unlock the doors manually.

Once I'm inside, it's a bit of 50-50 whether the car starts right up. Sometimes it struggles to find the key and says "Key Not Detected," even when the app is open and the phone is on. Are other owners experiencing these same issue, or has anyone found a setting that helps make the connection a bit more reliable?
