I was trying to use my enclosure with a Y-cable, but the Wii U isn’t recognizing it. It’s formatted correctly, but the system still won’t detect it. The drive is read on my computer and other devices but not the Wii U. The console has Aroma.

EDIT: it was the enclosure. it was a bad one. do NOT but the ORICO 2.5 inch External Hard Drive Enclosure (25PW1-U3). it just doesn't work.
