Looking for a cheaper alternative to Hers
I started the Wegovy pill last month on the 1.5mg dose with Hers. Initial price $39 for the Hers membership, $149 for the prescription. Very happy so far, minimal side effects and have lost 10 lbs. Am bumping up to 4mg dose for the 2nd month, with the Hers subscription jumping to $149/month - so $298/month for Hers subscription and the Wegovy pills. My insurance doesn’t cover this, so it’s out of pocket. I’m a retiree and would like to do better on the monthly cost going forward. The price of the pills is what it is, but I do not think the cost of the Hers subscription is worth it for me - I’m basically paying Hers $149/month for the prescription (I don’t use any of the other Hers products or features). I don’t really go to the doctor for much, so I don’t have a PCP. Where online can I get a monthly Wegovy pill prescription and/or meds for the best value? I realize I’m going to have to pay for both the prescription and the pills themselves anywhere, but think there must be less expensive options than Hers. I’m also not really interested in having to get labs done to get the pills, I’ve read some places make you do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
