Perfect as a daily and for watersports
Spent months debating between this and the Doxa Sub 200T. Both are great, but the HC kept calling me back — and six weeks in, zero regrets. The Doxa is more nerdy and also cool but damn the HC is so great!
As a daily wearer it’s perfect. The 39mm sits right, the ceramic bezel is scratch-free, and the bracelet with the diver’s extension is genuinely one of the best at this price point.
For surfing, it’s been bulletproof. 15+ sessions, screw-down crown, 300m WR (overkill but that’s the point), and the wetsuit clasp extension actually works. Rinses clean every time.
The value proposition is hard to beat — Swiss Made, ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal, 300m WR. The Doxa is cool but the HC quietly outclasses it on spec for the money.
If you’re on the fence, just try it on. It wears smaller and more refined than the numbers suggest, and the decision kind of makes itself. 🤙
