Two consecutive missed miscarriages - looking for others who've been here
Hi everyone. I'm 31F and have recently gone through my second consecutive missed miscarriage and I'm just looking for others who might have been in a similar position.
Both losses were in the first trimester. First one there was a fetal pole but no heartbeat to begin with and only measured 5w 6days. The second one is the one that's hit hardest — there was a good heartbeat at 6 weeks and 8 weeks (things looked promising), and then at the 12 week scan we found out it had stopped growing at 11 weeks. They noted the baby had a small sac and had subjectively low fluid.
Has anyone else had two consecutive losses and gone on to have a successful pregnancy? Did you get testing done, and did it lead to any answers or changes in your care? Could it be just bad luck if I try again?
Just looking for some hope and shared experiences right now. 💙
