Trying Out a Modern Take on a Classic 1930s Hairstyle

I’ve always been fascinated by hairstyles from Hollywood’s Golden Age, specifically the 1930s, especially those soft "finger waves" and the delicate "kiss curls" framing the cheeks. I wanted to see if I could recreate that vintage glamour with a short pixie cut wig while adding a modern twist. Of course, this isn't a 100% faithful recreation of the era's look; my goal was to draw inspiration from that time rather than copy it exactly. Do you think this style still captures that 1930s Hollywood vibe? Or does it lean more towards the style of a different vintage era? If you have any suggestions on how to make it look more authentic or true to the period, please let me know!

Selling in 5+ markets is making one store feel like five jobs

for those of you that sell in 5+ different markets, do you make separate duplicate stores, or do you set up multiple markets in one single store?

it seems like the workflow with using markets is a real hassle. all changes to the text and images in the store needs to be done in the translate app, while with duplicate stores i can make changes in the theme editor which is so much more user friendly.

the annoying part is it’s not just “translate the content.” every market has different text, images, pricing, shipping info, and sometimes even product angle. so one small product update becomes five different updates.

someone told me they use shopify markets and global-e and sell to 200+ countries, but don’t translate any content. honestly i get why. once you start translating everything, the work never ends.

i tried putting my product info, market notes, and supplier details into accio work just to see what should stay the same and what needs to change per market. it helped me sort the messy parts: which product text can be reused, which market needs different copy, and what supplier/shipping info is still missing before updating the store.

not a magic fix, but it made the whole thing feel less like guessing across five tabs.

so yeah, selling in multiple markets sounds scalable, but sometimes it just feels like building the same store 5 times.
