Hi everyone, I just got my WCA report back and it’s full of mistakes. I have chronic knee conditions. I have already pip. I m a single mother who relies on family and friend support due to my condition
The assessor really twisted my words:
• The Walk: I told him my 15-minute walk to the shop is only possible because I stop every 3 minutes due to severe pain. He wrote that I can walk "10-15 minutes continuously". also I said I can do it in my good days which are 2 out of 7
• The Sleep/Feeding: I told him I breastfeed my baby every 2 hours. He wrote that I eat every 2 hours and sleep 8 hours a night.
• The Wheelchair: He gave me 0 points for mobility but then recommended a self-propelled wheelchair in the summary.
I’ve already challenged this as a factual inaccuracy. I have sent Ingenus a complaint email and wrote on the UC journal.
My questions are:
How long are people currently waiting for a Mandatory Reconsideration or a new decision once they've pointed out these kinds of errors?
Has anyone else had an assessor recommend a wheelchair but then give 0 points? How did that play out?
Any advice on the current 2026 waiting times would be really appreciated. Thanks!
