YDS admissions chances

I am pursuing ordination in the Episcopal church, and seminary options are limited (in my diocese, at least). Yale seems like the only option with the academic rigor that I crave, as well as viewpoint diversity, high-caliber faculty, etc. I love academics, I want to be fully engaged in a diverse community, and I want to acquire the best pastoral training I can for my future. The odds of being accepted are looking grim, though.

I have a bachelors in theology with a minor in sociology (completed in 3 years) and a master of arts in ministry (essentially a smaller MDiv from an evangelical seminary, completed in 1 year). 4.0 GPA in both. Occupational history working with people with disabilities for ~5 years, volunteer experience leading Episcopal church service at a prison for ~6 years. Goal is to become a prison chaplain.

I don't have any published work, and I feel like I may be lacking in other areas that YDS looks for (?). Unsure if my academic history will shine or will seem rushed.

Does anyone have advice on what YDS looks for in admissions? Am I even close to the kind of student they would admit? I will work very diligently on my personal statement and writing sample, but how do I best tailor them to YDS? How much do I include on my CV? Do I include projects or volunteer work from undergrad? I didn't do a lot of projects or specialty work in my MA :/

If any Episcopalians can share experiences at other schools like Virginia or Union, I would love to hear your perspective as well.
