How useful are cones?
Hi everyone,
My 1 year old cat was spayed today, she was sent home in a surgical suit but through the day she’s figured out how to get each of her paws inside the suit which has restricted her from walking. I’ve managed to take the suit off and put her cone on instead. I’m going to take her to the vets again tomorrow and see if they can put a smaller surgical suit on so she can’t slip out of it but if they can’t do that does anyone have any suggestions? I’ve ordered a donut from amazon to see if that will be better than the cone however i’ve seen some people say their cats healed well without anything- anyone know how true that is? she hates the cone but i don’t want to take it off and risk her damaging her stitches. Any advice will help- thank you!
