Stupidity on display
I started shooting when I was a scout, at about ten years old. I spent three years in JROTC on the rifle team before I joined the Army. I am an Army veteran of 8 years and qualified as an expert on all weapons handed to me. I have had a Top Secret clearance and have had numerous background investigations over my career.
I purchased all my guns between age 18 and 40. Went through California's registration process for each purchase. I inherited my dad's guns.
I'm 67 now and just went to purchase a few boxes of normal ammo (.357, .38) for a range day with my son and was told I cannot buy them. Unless I bought a gun after 2014, I am no longer "qualified" for any purchases. All my old registrations did not "transfer to the new system."
The draconian California laws never cease to amaze me. It is no wonder so many scoff at the gun laws.
