Baby with Platonic friend
I’m curious if anyone has ever made an agreement with a friend to have a kid.
For example I 39f would like to have a kid and my 38m friend as well both want kids.
Neither of us are dating anyone and have always been on the same level with all things but we have never dated exclusively just never went down that road. We have had a thing off an on for the last 14 years so we’re two people who are very steady in each others lives.
I am focused, living my best life and thinks it’s time for me to do the one thing I’ve always dreamed of doing. He on the other hand has been doing his entrepreneurial thing for years and is getting to that point as well and it’s been a thing we’ve spoke on here and there but never tried.
He comes from a large very close family, who always look out for each other, I come from the complete opposite so he has the family I’ve always dreamed of giving me child(I don’t need or want to be in a relationship with him)bc we already have a very solid friendship and he shows up for me if I ever need him and he’s the fun uncle that you never question if he’s going to be there bc this man shows up!
I’m curious has anyone ever did this with a friend and how has it worked out? I want to hear the pros and cons.
