What age do kids need large yards?

Currently I have a toddler age 2 and newborn. We moved into a town home last year and have spent all spring turning our 200-300 sqft backyard that was mostly concrete into a fenced grass yard with garden boxes and patio area. We worked really hard on it but I still feel guilty that he doesn’t have a bigger space. We get out of the house usually once a day frequently to the park and go on hikes 3-4 times a week. With that said at what age do you feel your kids needed more outdoor space to independently play. We plan on moving into a house within the next 5 years when I start working when our kids are school aged but I don’t want it to negatively affect our kids. Especially my son who will be 7. Any advice appreciated!

Most used outdoor equipment

Hi! We currently live in a townhome where we have recently taken out the concrete in one section of our tiny yard to put some grass approximately 13 X 12 ft. I’ve been going back and forth about a small playset like the step2 woodland adventure playhouse and slide or just a playhouse. I would love some opinions on your kids most used outdoor toy. My son loves to climb and is very imaginative.

Need some advice. My son is 2 and sleeps in a toddler bed. We always thought he was a great sleeper as he doesn’t call for us until 9:30 and he goes to bed at 8:30. Well recently I bought a camera for his room that saves video and records movement and I’ve been seeing he actually wakes up around 8 but just sits there looking around his room. Should I be letting him do this if he’s not crying or upset? I feel so guilty over this would love some perspective
