This is a follow up to a previous post there should be a plastic top to this correct is it important to have because if so that may have been my issue

Been having issues with failure to extract and feed went to a uspsa match and was constantly clearing malfunctions wondering if anyone had some tips it is not a stock Glock on the exterior last two pics are old I have a red dot but do not think it’s the issue
