r/Glock43X

As the title states I just want some belt recommendations, my lgs recommends kore but some say they are too stiff. To add context I’m going to be carrying a 43x with tlr7 sub hlx in a tenicor 48 holster. The one without the built in wedge most likely. I have taken the buy once cry once approach so far and don’t mind spending the money on a good belt.

Went to the range and a dropped a mag out and the follower broke it still runs but I most def want a replacement one! Struggling to find where to get one if anyone can give me tips I think the new 15 round mag requires a special one because it’s the new oem aluminum magazine from Glock.

Ran only about ~100 till my battery compartment fell out, my mistake, had one failure to eject on those 100 round at around 70 rounds, no failures to feed, the cartridge primer seem to get stuck in the striker, had to knock out the round, don’t know if this is my striker needing more wearing in, since my gun only has ~500 rounds, or this is a soft primer issue, the rounds did end up shooting sparky, enough where the range master stopped me and asked what I was shooting, like people mentioned before it seemed to run dirty, but in another way, not the way that it covers your gun in powder, but in residue flakes, personally I’m gonna finish this box and go to blazer, the strange sparks, plus failure to eject, and weird residue (not the usual gunk of gun powder, seemed to run more than hot to be able to clear it, but left some other metal like residual when inspected closer seemed to be some dust…), I did choose the “made in Brazil” box and all seemed to check out with it looking like magtech, maybe I’ll give the brass box a shot since it’s now at the same price and seemed to be the same cartridge and primer in marking

When loading a full 15 round factory Glock magazine into the 43x with the slide open I notice the ejector moves to the left 1/32” (Muzzle pointed away from me). I think the polymer in the trigger housing is flexing due to the pressure being applied to the ejector. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a cause for concern?

Update 7-5-26: After experimenting with other Glocks they all seem to do this to some degree. Seems to do it more on the smaller baby Glocks than on the bigger ones. It must be normal/part of the design. Its never caused me any problems.

I just picked up a new 43X, pulling double duty as a concealed carry and duty weapon. Got it out on the range and put some rounds through it, and the recoil for this thing is a little more than what I’m used to with Glock. (To be fair, I’ve been out of Glock Land for about a decade and have been carrying mostly a revolver in the meantime…)

Anyways, anyone have any experience with parts to help stabilize the muzzle flip on their 43X? Either maybe a grip weight, light or a barrel extension? Any recommendations would be helpful!

My (used) 43X came with a metal mag release that causes mags to stick in the well. I would like to replace it with an OEM but Midway is backordered and ebay wants double the normal price plus shipping. Brownells is normal pricing but wants $12 for shipping.

Anywhere out there that has it in stock for normal price, hopefully with free shipping?
