All 9s I encounter constantly try to read my needs and wishes and mood and then adjust their behaviour according to it. It would be ok but most of the time they’re wrong. They also presume they know who I am as a person based on their observations and then model their behaviour according to what they think I want/like or say some weird personal comment about me. For example, there was an episode where I was doing something in a certain manner because I was asked to do it like that by 639 tritype manager (who tried to please me and make my life easier by asking me to do something in this certain manner), then 963 tritype coworker sees me doing it (always observing me as usual) and the next time will insert some sort of comment like “oh you’re the one who likes to do it in that manner because you’re lazy/like to take it easy/don’t like another way right?”. I’m not sure if it’s funny or sad anymore. It’s like they focus on some random episodes and don’t really see the overarching pattern but still act very sure that they know who you as a person because of that gut type need for control
