Disclaimer: I know I messed up on rules. I’m hoping to find out how to minimize damage.
So I’ve occasionally had spray tans over the years, but when I went in today (Wed) for an event on Saturday, the girl was heavy handed…even leaving the salon I was sticky, damp and streaky (yes I did follow drying instructions there, but they were moving girls out of the booths fast).
It’s a regular developer and at around 6 hours in, I knew I was WAY too scary dark, and it wasn’t just the bronzer. I jumped in the shower (lukewarm) and used a small amount paraben free soap on parts that appeared streaky.
It’s looking better now…BUT I just had family surprise me with a massage and mani/pedi…tomorrow morning (about 16 hours post tan). It’s all paid for and while I’m okay to do a polish change on my feet, I’d like the massage and manicure.
At this point, I just don’t want to be tiger striped at my event from bad application, my own panic, and a poorly timed good deed. What can I do to minimize damage????
