I don’t have hardly any T7 ships, just Iowa, Kansas, Inamura, and Ovhakov. Every match I play, at least one person is afl the first two minutes. Most of the time, the destroyer is doing circles in the backfield or trying to torpedo battleships from maximum range and missing every salvo. I’ve been using Iowa, playing my flank, using island cover to limit who can shoot me while I try to focus down whatever ship is the biggest threat to my team. I’m seeing loads of secondary build and/or torpedo BBs, so I try to focus them or any radar cruiser so my DD can do their job, which is rare to see.

A lot of the BBs on my team are just reversing to the border at the start, so I’m trying to not be the sole focus of all the enemy team while still trying to be in play and take shots at anyone I can. I can consistently put up a high caliber medal most every game, but find that most of the time it doesn’t seem to affect the outcome, as all of our ships get picked off for sailing broadside, or because our DD refuses to engage the enemy DD and we all get torpedoed one at a time.

I’m getting frustrated as hell, but I want the steel and promotion orders. I don’t have the credits to buy a T7 DD within the next 3 days, otherwise I’d get the Fletcher and play DD myself.
