Hello everyone a girl in my town is selling a vintage Singer 247 really cheap! Around $63 USD! Right now I'm a casual sewist but I'm planning on sewing pretty frequently in the future because I want to make costumes for kids, like for school events and such and start building my career as a sewist so I was wondering if this machine would be a good start, right now I'm using a modern singer so I want to get something vintage as I've heard they're more reliable. It was serviced a month ago and doesn't have any defects. Any insight is appreciated 🩷
