I’m going to a 2k tournament this weekend and was debating which of these two should be there. I feel like the Maulerfiend had a good punch both in short range shooting and in melee but Lucius has good chances of hitting high with bigger units due to his ability to re roll hits and wounds on characters, monsters or walkers. Having lone op and heroic intervention also helps but what do you think?

In the rules it’s mentioned if the warlord is in the game you need to pledge a number to gain pact points by killing however many of units you made at the beginning of each round. I know it says you have to state a number but can that be zero? I’ve played games where I pledged one but have heard you can technically pledge none of you don’t feel like you’ll have the confidence to match the goal. Is this real or must it always be one or more.
