New here! Looking for J-drama recs without the cringy romance (Loved Le Grande Maison Tokyo & MIU404)
Hey everyone! I'm completely new here. So far, I’ve only watched Le Grande Maison Tokyo and MIU404, and I absolutely loved both of them!
I'm looking for more J-drama recommendations, but I’m really not a fan of romance. It’s not that romance is bad, it’s just that romantic scenes make me cringe so hard that I actually have to look away and cover my ears, lol.
To be honest, I'm down for pretty much any genre. It doesn't have to be 100% romance-free either, a little bit of subplot or background romance is totally fine. I just want to avoid those super mushy, awkward, and overly romantic moments.
Any suggestions that focus on a solid main plot and stay away from all that cheesy stuff?
Thanks in advance!
