Where can I more dramas starring Yuki Uchida

I'm an African American dude who loves Japanese films and dramas. But the one of my all time favorite actresses I'm "ride or die" on is Yuki Uchida. I have a HUGE crush on her. I adore her. I've watched the little films she's been in and her recent dramas. She's a goddess. I get overwhelmed when I see her on screen. Something about her that captivates me. Her beauty, the way she's a chameleon in her roles. EVERYTHING. But, it's so hard to find her old dramas she was in when she was younger. Can anyone help this "madly in love" Yuki fan. Can't stop thinking about her. She also has a cute nose.

Looking for recs similar to Until I Destroyed My Husband's Other family

I binged watched it over the weekend whilst recovering from illness, and whilst it wasn't my favourite, I did really enjoy watching a formerly kind woman turn very calculating. I did find myself wishing that the romance element had stayed a bit more sinister as part of her revenge mission, especially given his age.

I don't mind if there is a romance plot/subplot, I'm just looking for similar vibes

After Homeroom,I am here with another bizarre and weird drama's review (Kakafukaka)

So the drama is Kakafukaka

So their are like 4 characters in this drama :-

ML,FL,SML & SFL

They all live in a shared house(owned by SML)

So basically the ML hasn't been able to make his boy hard since 2 years

He meets his first gf (FL) and realises that being around her can bring his boy back to life

So he asks FL to help to which FL obviously agrees

Now the WTFs:-

>!So the FL lets ML rub him agains her and all!<

>!The SML gets to know of this and also clicks a photo of them sleeping together!<

>!And it is shown as nothing !<

>!Like dude just invaded their privacy!<

>!But no...!<

>!Now so SML starts liking FL!<

>!So he asks her to marry him to which FL is glad to hear as she is not doing good in life !<

>!The creepy part:- FL continues sleeping with ML and SML knows all this but he has no problem with it and wants an open marriage!<

>!Now the FL realises she has fallen for the ML and confesses it to him!<

>!When she doesn't get desirable answer she breaks up with ML and starts dating SML!<

>!And on their first date itself, she asks SML to have se* with her to which SML denies and tells her to firstly get to know each other better!<

>!I mean FL was just in love with ML yesterday and today she wants to have it with SML !<

>!Like girl ,control ur desires a little !<

>!.......!<

>!And repeat it a 100 times,FL seeing 2 guys at once and thinking about se* everytime!<

>!SML being an desperate psycho and begging her to marry him!<

>!ML being a obsessive douche bag,he just wants to sleep with the FL !<

>!The only sane character-SFL!<

>!She likes the ML but as soon as she gets to know all this!<

>!She steps out of the mess!<

Basically this is the story of 2 perverts(ML & FL),a desparate guy(SML) and a dumb childish lady(SFL)

Manpuku feels like a warm hug

I just finished watching Manpuku. Ngl it's out of my comfort zone with its 151 episodes (15 minutes each), but it's so heartfelt and endearing I kept rooting for the characters and wanting to know what was awaiting them.

Ando Sakura and Hasegawa Hiroki do look the part as a married couple. Based on the life of Ando Momofuku, founder of Nissin Foods, and his wife Masako, it was exciting to see how they invented instant ramen. Of course this is a drama and heavily fictionalized, but it was awesome nonetheless. It's on Netflix!!

New here! Looking for J-drama recs without the cringy romance (Loved Le Grande Maison Tokyo & MIU404)

Hey everyone! I'm completely new here. So far, I’ve only watched Le Grande Maison Tokyo and MIU404, and I absolutely loved both of them!

I'm looking for more J-drama recommendations, but I’m really not a fan of romance. It’s not that romance is bad, it’s just that romantic scenes make me cringe so hard that I actually have to look away and cover my ears, lol.

To be honest, I'm down for pretty much any genre. It doesn't have to be 100% romance-free either, a little bit of subplot or background romance is totally fine. I just want to avoid those super mushy, awkward, and overly romantic moments.

Any suggestions that focus on a solid main plot and stay away from all that cheesy stuff?

Thanks in advance!

After watching it I want to watch more dramas set in all girls schools. Let the girls be messy! Any genre OK! I honestly don’t care how good the actual writing is I will be the judge!!!

Best japanese drama rec. (read below)

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for Japanese dramas and movies and would love some recommendations based on my taste.

I enjoy:

 • Romance with lots of chemistry, banter, teasing, and a satisfying happy ending.
 • Workplace/office rom-coms like Business Proposal, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, Shooting Stars, and Hidden Love.
 • Wholesome romances that make you smile and "kick your feet."
 • Survival, thriller, zombie, disaster, and psychological game series like Alice in Borderland, I Am a Hero, Train to Busan, and All of Us Are Dead.
 • Action-comedies with a fun group or found-family vibe, similar to Vincenzo, The Fiery Priest, Extreme Job, and The Roundup.
 • Good bromance and team chemistry.
 • Detective/crime dramas with comedy.
 • Anything with a lovable cast and great character interactions.

Some of my favorite Asian dramas and movies include:

 • Alice in Borderland
 • I Am a Hero
 • Business Proposal
 • What's Wrong with Secretary Kim
 • Shooting Stars
 • Hidden Love
 • The Best Thing
 • Vincenzo
 • The Fiery Priest
 • Flex X Cop
 • Train to Busan
 • All of Us Are Dead
 • Extreme Job
 • The Roundup
 • Midnight Runners
 • The Dude in Me
 • Zombie for Sale
 • Ashfall
 • Emergency Declaration
 • The Pirates
 • Welcome to Waikiki
 • Zombie Detective
 • My Sassy Girl
 • Always

I'm not really looking for slow, artsy, or tragic dramas. I prefer something that's entertaining, funny, fast-paced, has great chemistry between the characters, and ends happily.

Thanks in advance!

asking for recommendations, except i'm an aesthetics freak

hi everyone! i'm not a very avid watcher of jdramas, but i've enjoyed an incurable case of love and i cannot reach you in the pasf. as you can tell i do really like soft fluffy romances, but am looking to expand my horizons too! i also really like shows where the two main leads are beautiful... i kind of can't watch a show if they're both not pretty. also, i like shows with pretty settings too! please let me know if you have any recs ^_^

The Queen's Classroom: What are you thoughts on it? (SPOILER WARNING: the post assumes you have seen the first 11 episodes and a bit more)

Personally I found that I wanted to keep watching; it wasn't pleasurable, but you just have to watch Yuki Amami portray a character fully. The sensei is sick and twisted. I mean her logic is right, her intentions are half good, but her methods? Nope.

I mean she'd be GREAT if you wanted to give an unemployed 20-something who still lives in their parents' basement a reality check. But I agree with her not being able to teach anymore without being re-lectured on it. In my opinion, even the growth and maturity the kids got in the end was in spite of her and not because of her. Their gratitude to her is just displaced. They are grateful to the circumstances she caused, not her; there is a difference, but they don't get it.

Concerning the future mental well-being of the kids, I don't think that they have or will have psychological scars as one student even told Maya she'd want to be a teacher like her, and more importantly they were discerning enough to know they were cruel and to act upon that.

As for her backstory, I haven't seen it all, but I have seen enough to know that Maya Akutsu is a rigid and uncompromising idealistic woman. So if she was willing to adapt to the reality she saw, none of this would have happened. I guess the real lesson is: be flexible and be willing to let reality test and break your ideals a bit.

It's funny how she was such a naive teacher despite the fact her dad was also a teacher. I mean don't get me wrong, society back in the day was more focused on feeding their kids ideals rather than truths, so that's partly why this happened, and she is partly a victim to it, but yk, one has to take responsibility for her own life, as she told the 6-3.

On a side note, the music is ever so slightly cheery and tranquil and isn't fully eerie like Kasifeu No Mita. Why do I think this the case? It's a strategic show. You see, this show is doing the opposite of Kasifeu No Mita. It is largely not ultra dark like this show, so the dark music helps you feel like something is sinister, meanwhile the OST's in this show help you feel 5% tranquility in spite of the darkness.

EDIT: I finished it all and I think that the second time around, Akutsu did everything right, except when she was with the boy, the two moments, the pants moment and the knife moment. If the trousers thing, simply she never used her hands to get him to pull his trousers up. and if she had decided to speak to him for 5 minutes, sat down on a chair, then none of this stuff would have happened and whatnot and she wouldn't have needed to go to the center and become the so called demon teacher. As for her familial tragedy, I think it's just purely sad and I don't think any of it is her fault. Not even the tics. I don't agree with her husband at all and he isn't a good partner to be around, so yk, I am glad she divorced him.

Anybody knows where can I find this drama? 🥺 Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (2010)

I've pretty much searched through all the links and I couldn't find it anywhere. The ones that I am finding are such bad quality.

I want to download the eps as well, so if anyone can suggest sites from where I can download, that'll be really helpful.

The Struggle Is Unimaginable

So, I recently got into Jdoramas and finding the shows I wanna watch because of their unique plotline is near to impossible. Within a month of my frenzied binging I have circled through 10+ streaming sites to find the dramas I wanna watch. While it served me adequately for the absolute famous ones, but now I have hit a massive roadblock.

I am a new fan of Yagira Yuya's works, and after I've watched his famous works, I wanted to check out his niche ones, like Shinji Matta ze, Aoi Hoono, Nigatsu no Shousha and others. But no matter where I search, the links all come up broken. I can't even speak Japanese so unsubbed episodes will also not be able to help me even I find the somewhere.

I really don't know where else am I supposed to look for these anymore.
