Fifty Fifty releases song lengths of their latest ep, and they are all around 3 minutes

STARSTRUCK - 2:58

Like a Bubble - 3:09

Took It Too Far - 3:18

PERFECT - 2:58

Genie Magic - 3:07

Carry On - 2:55

Very refreshing to see when music trends shorter and shorter these days. Groups under HYBE being the biggest offenders lately.

It's nice to see longer songs still have a place and are appreciated in 2026.

How are we all handling the Moka withdrawal? 😥

I miss her a lot 😭 I am very appreciative she has reassured us multiple times she is okay, but it's still been tough not having her for most of this era. Even then, I don't want her to rush things with her recovery 🙏

Chaewon's neck injury should be a cautionary tale to never subject idols to obvious strenuous movements that can clearly lead to injury

For those who haven't heard yet: https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop/s/f0JRHVlfyI

The head rotating/banging move in Celebration. I think we all saw it coming and the potential danger of repeated strain it could cause to these girls' necks.

Whoever was the choreographer that approved that move should be fired. Stuff like this infuriates me because it's so preventable. In the worst case scenario, neck injuries can be career ending. They aren't to be messed with. This won't be the case for Chaewon thankfully, but I sincerely wish her the best in her recovery.

I just don't ever want to see this again in kpop. It's sickening.

How do companies get away with using copyrighted sound effects in variety content?

Like the Mario coin sound or the Sonic ring sound among other famous video game sfx. Did they have to purchase licenses or are they free to use these effects like YouTubers and don't have to only stick to royalty free stuff?

Why is the 7-year rule a thing that happens in kpop?

I am referring to the notion that groups "stay active" for roughly 7 years before they disband due to waning interest. I just wonder why companies normalize giving these idols this sort of security blanket, if you will. Of course there are groups that go beyond 7 years, but that's because the group continues to pop off and that's usually pretty rare. But for smaller groups or groups that have one big hit and then tail off, companies give these groups around 7 years to stick around before moving resources to their next up and coming talent.

To be clear, I'm not saying it's wrong and it's great for fans who love groups that are less popular, but for Western artists signed by labels, generally they stick around far shorter than 7 years and fade off way faster. If they aren't releasing good music consistently, they are forgetten quickly and the label essentially gives up on them.

I just find it interesting to see how in kpop, they are given more of a guarantee once they are formed, unless legal things happen, actual major scandals occur, or someone leaves the group early (although they usually carry on anyways).

What are ILLIT's most iconic English speaking phrases?

Minju's

"Tonight is very, very special"

Recently... "Whoaa my heart is stop" "She's on fire"

But from other variety content:

Roha's "STOP. S-T-O-P"

And I could probably think of more, but my mind currently blanks, so any more you can think of?

Does JYPapi fall into the category of M*NZ 🤮 or is he an exception to the rule?

My money is on exception!

For gg stans and bg stans, what needs to happen to convince you to listen more to the other gender's music?

Or perhaps doesn't need to happen. I think it's less common for kpop fans to listen to COMPLETELY equal parts bg and gg music, normally we have a preference for one over the other.

If you are a gg stan, is there anything that bgs need to do to grab your attention? Perhaps concept wise or something? My honest preference to listening to more ggs is that I think ggs have more versatile concepts, whereas in bgs it's there but more limited, imo.

Vice versa if you are a bg stan, what you do think ggs need to do to grab your attention?

Advice on what to do with gift cards moving forward

I have stored my credit on the Subway app and they now got rid of gift cards. While they are still accessible through the website, I fear they are going to phase that out too and not tell me.

Isn't it against TOC to do that if they take my gift card credit away? I don't want to waste using them up and rather use it whenever I want.
