aespa's concerts are just okay. Thoughts?
Just got back from the Oakland show. It was 2 hours but the all the solos and collab songs felt like it took a whole hour. Also was there any songs cut from the setlist? It just felt very rushed and I feel like they could use some lessons on mic skills and how to work a crowd. Everything also felt too scripted. They really need to get new people to direct and coordinate these shows. You know for a BIG 4 group..their concerts just don't really live up to that BIG 4 quality all that much...😕

Which idol from a huge group is actually underrated bc ppl assume everyone in the group gets equal hype?
which idol do you feel like is genuinely overlooked not in some small nugu group, but in a massive, popular group where people just assume everyone is already well-appreciated because of the group's overall fame? for me, it’s hueningkai. his vocals, dancing, visuals, and stage presence are honestly incredible 👀 but i feel like his actual talent gets slept on so hard, both by casual listeners and even within the fandom. just because he’s in txt doesn't mean he automatically gets the individual recognition he deserves. people see a big group name and automatically assume all the members are hyped equally, but that's really not how it works.
kai literally has one of the most distinct voices in 4th gen, his stage presence is so magnetic and his duality on stage is insane. but half the time people still just reduce him to being the "cute maknae" or treat him like he's just part of the huening family (they're not even a sub unit but most ppl just treat them as a sub unit instead of their own persons). he has so much more to offer as an individual artist and member and a lot of people are seriously missing out on how talented he actually is. curious to hear who else comes to mind for you guys!
