I think we all know about Felix effect in God's menu was very viral and many became fans cuz of it which is true.
But I feel like even though that's true I think lots of people always say that it's cuz of that part that God's menu was viral. But actually I don't thinks so cuz the 5-star Michelin line is simply like the killing part in the song.
So these when casuals hear about how God's menu was viral people just say "Oh it's Felix effect cuz of his line and voice" But it's actually the whole song with Binsung rap the Hyunjin ne sonim and choreo, the Music video, the lyrics, and the noisy sound that was very new in kpop, the beat switch up. So i feel like people attributing it's virality to simply "felix effect" is like not the whole story.
Like this is not shade to felix in any way so don't take it the wrong way I'm just talking about just that line. Basically lots of part served as the building up and Felix line was the one finisher shot so it's not the sole reason which many people forget and to just say "oh felix effect" Which feels like a bit of disservice to the whole songs success cuz it had a lot going on instead of just that one thing. Again it's just my opinion so pls don't take offence.
.... Young K?
It's like 2026 and I can't believe there are people who genuinely really still think this to this day so I wanted to cleared up the misinformation.
I wonder if it's really turned away any casual listeners from listening to them now/in the past, since I heard this take about their music for years and heard fans say they didn't listen to them earlier cuz of it.
I feel like I hear this when it comes to Skz more than other groups too. Some people genuinely start believing this as time goes on and people keep saying the same things.
Same with people saying that they always flex in their songs about how Rich they are and how better they are than everyone else, which is a HUGE misconception.
The only thing they flex about in their songs is their creativity, their passion, their ambition, their resilience, their confidence, their hardship, their authenticity etc. You get the idea.
Even the calling out haters thing is very few songs compared to most of their discography.
From the very start of their carrer they have written albums about mental health, youth struggles etc. That's what the whole I AM NOT to Clé Levanter concepts as rookies even were in the first place. They always had relatable songs like Grow Up, 19, Voices, Blind Spot etc.
Even their noisiest song Side effects is about overcoming the voices that destroy you from inside and letting yourself live. IN life, Go live, whole albums with that name. Their Flex songs is basically them all hustling for the life too.
LALALALA is one of their most popular title tracks, super meaningful but people write it off as flexing and noise when it's themes are just talking about once again themes like living life to the fullest by being true to yourself.
Comflex seems like simple flex song at first glance but it's about embracing your insecurities and turning them into something you can be confident about.
Not to mention they all their lyrics so it's from their probably inspired by their own real life experience they go/went through as well.
The first song when you open IN LIFE is not something that sounds like God's menu but actually a song that tells people to go at their own pace in life and without worrying about catching up to others. Like that alone should tell people what a lot of their music is actually about.
It's a big fandom so misinformation can spread pretty fast to a lot of people.
For example, a lot of times I've heard fans say that Dance Racha makes all the choreography, which is obviously not true since they do hire choreographers for the job.
I've also seen people get confused with the terms Dance leader & Lead dancer when it comes to Lee know. People often seem to think they are the same thing even if they're not.
In a similar vein, I've seen people say Skz has no official main vocal after the previous one left even though I'm pretty sure Seungmin is one.
Another one is that Felix joined the company only two months ago in the survival show when it's actually a mistranslation cuz he actually says he joined in the "2nd month of the year" Not 2 months.

The song I'm referring to is Cinema from their Mixtape: Dominate EP
In my opinion it's only weakness is that it's a ballad which appeals to people a lot less, especially internationally—But Despite being a ballad I think this one has its own special place amongst their many great though noiser tracks they are known for.
You can confirm this lack of appeal to an extent by the number of views between the songs as well (but popularity of members also affects views so we should keep that mind too but nonetheless Lee know & Seungmin are fairly popular members)
Other than that I feel like it's one of their best songs (or at the least the best out of all the numerous slow songs/ballads) in their whole discography.
I remember it didn't make much noise compared to the other three when it came out afaik, but what is your opinion on this since it's been over an year since it's release?
Personally, even if I listen to others a bit more, I think for one thing it's the best out of all four from a music perspective. The music video is also well made and live performance is pretty good too.
Additionally, I remember it being picked as one of the Top 25 Kpop songs of 2025 by Billboard.
They have lot of songs and content and lot of things get forgotten or lost
For me it's the Two kids song series cuz it was really a fun content and the songs they made there together were also fun. I saw some stays asking where Hyunjin and Seungmin got the name 'bickering duo' and I'm pretty sure it was cuz of 2 kids song.

The other day I was talking to my other K-pop loving friend who used to he a hardcore STAY and still is to a mild extent and I jokingly told her (just to ragebait her) that they've been "making the same music since 2020" and she just laughed, but eventually seemed to agree, and then moved on. I think she was joking.
The truth is I never really fully listened to any Stray Kids release asides from IN LIFE and ODDINARY, I think. And my favorite song from them is Tortoise and the Hare, but tbh MIROH is the best song I've heard from them so far.
Idk but something about my friend made me want to revisit Stray Kids because obviously I just said that as a joke and had no backing for it. But honestly I just can't get into any of their songs or title tracks from these past few years?? And if I can't stand the title tracks then I obviously won't get myself to listen to the EPs and albums.
I always forget to ask my friend to explain that one, so I decided to ask Reddit instead. Ciao.
Beyond making music, dance and storytelling play a prominent role in your performances. What inspires you to create? What challenges do you face when translating your vision into a tangible performance?
>Making beautiful things is a challenge for me. For instance, the killing part in ‘Guilty’—where I put my hand through my shirt and over my mouth—can be seen as brutal or cruel, but I wanted to show it in a beautiful way. I pondered upon that choreography for a while—how far can I go? How much am I allowed to cross? If it goes too far in the other direction, people may take it negatively. But if it’s perceived well, the audience will love it and it could become a sensation. That’s something that’s always in the back of my head. And recently, I’ve been getting a lot of inspiration from AI. There are so many creative visuals made by AI that can’t typically be made by human beings. That new wave of AI short-form videos gives me guidance and inspiration.
It's a such shame since the rest of the interview actually felt great to read...
I don't see people talk about them much maybe cuz they're not a very popular pairing but they always seemed very close to me.
In one Skz code when they asked I.N who was his favorite member he named Bang Chan & they also live together as well. Even with 4 years of age gap ( We all know how hierarchies can get in korea) they never seemed awkward to me even pre-debut and always seemed to love teasing eachother as equal while having lot of mutual respect.
I'm not into shipping or anything but I just have a appreciation for their friendship.
On August 29th and 30th, Stray kids performed in Tokyo at the MUFG stadium as part of their Run It tour, making them the first ever foreign male artist to hold a solo concert at the venue after selling out both dates.
It’s so incredible how much their popularity in Japan has skyrocketed over the years. From what I’ve heard, even securing the venue can be pretty difficult and it has a concert capacity of about 70,000 to 80,000. Seeing that many people willing to buy tickets to watch them perform must have been a surreal experience for them. They’ve undeniably cemented themselves as one of the top Kpop groups in Japan and they now join Twice as the only Kpop artists to have held solo concerts at the venue.
Which other Kpop groups do you guys think will be able to sell out the stadium in the coming years?
