There is a sub dedicated to hating bahiyyih

Seriously what is doing on with kep1er and Reddit?

There is an entire subReddit dedicated to hating bahiyyih. These people call her disgusting names and blur her face out of everything.

They literally call her shameless for posting a picture with her BROTHER!

They call her horse and p2 (idk what that means but it’s clearly an insult)

If anyone participates in this sub then you are a disgusting person

That sub honestly needs to be banned or something

My thoughts on Babymonster's "I Like It"

As someone who marginally keeps up with babymon because i liked them pre-debut... I like it lol.

To me it was their best release of late and finally is refreshing. Not astounding, but it's a fun song, it will probably grow on me the more I listen to it. The vocals are slaying, the summer vibes are giving!

BUT! Seeing the MV and listening to the song made me feel sad for what they could be and how much potential these girls have. Not that they are in anyway failing in their careers, they have a strong fanbase, but they could be HUGE.

I stopped stanning them as soon as it became clear to me that it was going to be a group of highly sexualized minor(which it was and still is) and as an adult, I have no interest in that. Even now with "I like it", why do we need multiple shots of their asses? Not even them dancing while moving their hips, it's just a close up shot of their asses. Srsly.

Anyway, the song is good, i hope they continue to put out songs with personality and i really really hope they stop oversexualizing the girls.

Baby monster hype pre and post debut.

I remember baby monster was one of the most hyped group pre-debut, YG teased this group for years before debuting. Baby monster made their debut after almost 7 years of Black pink which is the most successful group of all time in kpop. Also they were called Blackpink's little sister. The expectations were sky high from Baby monster even Yg once told that he wants Chiquita to be as successful as Lisa. And honestly I think BM has that it factor they are strong live performers, amazing singers , good dancers and most importantly they have charisma. But I don't see much hype for BM apart from their own fandoms. Ik BM has one of the strongest fandom among 5th gen groups in general. But I somehow feel their pre debut hype did not match up to their popularity post debut especially when it comes to gp. Also apart from Sheesh and Drip none of their songs charted well domestically.

P.S - For a long period I thought it was bcoz of Meovv, who resonated more with gp and they kind of moved ahead from BM, as Bp's sister group but then I checked it and realised apart from Hands up not even Meovv performed that well domestically. Also, I think in comparison to other Yg groups BM discography is quite diverse. Also, not a lot of groups are doing the girl crush concept in 5th gen unlike 4th. So what do you think is holding them?

Who do you think is going to leave NCT since their Contracts are coming to an End?

As of now it's July 5, we are only 2 days away from NCT 127 contracts expiration and 1 month away from NCT dream's expiration.

NCT 127 Originally debuted as a 7 member group (Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyung, Taeil, Yuta, Winwin, Haechan).

Taeyong and Jaehyung contract was extended due to Military Service.

3 members have gone in the last 7 years: Taeil, Winwin and Mark.

Winwin left due to WayV but his 10 year contract with SM did not get terminated. Just because he left 127 doesn't mean his contract got terminated because he is still part of the NCT brand. I assume he is going to be the one to leave NCT considering that he hasn't been active in WayV for the last 2 years due to acting roles in China. The last time he was active for WayV was back in 2023 which was "On my Youth" and it would not be a big shock considering that everyone saw it coming.

Also the plushie's for WayV which drops around July or August excludes winwin

I will Miss Winwin when he leaves NCT I really would. I already miss his presence in NCT 127

As for Yuta and Haechan, my guess is that Yuta will leave SM but he will stay with NCT 127. Haechan is a 50/50 for me, I could see him leaving both NCT and SM because just like Mark he has been overworked and been into a lot of groups but I could also see him staying within NCT and leaving SM. That's my assumption for both Yuta and Haechan.

Now let's go to NCT Dream, I am not a big Dream fan but I do love their music and what they do. Now I'm gonna guess Renjun because he caught my attention when I got into Dream. He will leave SM because SM did not really treat him well when the group was under Lee Soo man. I don't know about other dream members because I said I'm not a big Dream fan.

What is your guys thoughts on this?

ateez title tracks are no longer alternative

posted this video on my tiktok a little bit ago.

this is creator @fursuityaoi on youtube.

ateez is my ults but people who claim that they’ve always experimented are purposely being dense.

  1. hongjoong himself said that they are trying out new styles for the golden hour series and maybe they will go back to what they used to make later.

  2. i would argue that really they are doing less experimentation, more trend following.. now dont come for me but brazilian phonk has been trending, im not suprised we got BAD for the title track.

same with lemon drop, iomt, and work, at the time, that style was trending.

adrenaline was sort of an outlier tbh.

  1. a lot of ateez’s current fanbase was gained during the world series, literally their most alternative era

all this to say, im not surprised for the dislike of BAD (ghp5’s title track) by both new and old fans. it’s not like their old music and it’s not like the music a lot of the fanbase likes

these people are still atiny and are allowed to express their opinions 🩷

I know this is gonna piss off a ton of toxic ARMYs and STAYs but I don't care. Take a good look. This is how relationships between fandoms should be! Feel the wholesomeness!

Wanted to bring back, IMO, Sakura’s most underrated vocal performance; I wish we could see her voice utilized like this more.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this is one of the only times we hear Sakura sing with a voice this deep. She sounds beautiful. It isn’t perfect, but I think if she continued training her vocals with this as a starting point rather than with a nasal tone, her voice would probably sound different today.

To be clear, I am not criticizing/hating her voice! I love J-pop idols and she has a voice that is pretty typical of them; I love Sakura and she’s my favorite fourth gen idol. I just think this performance shows a different side of her that I wish we could have seen more of. :)

Unfortunately I think this performance gets forgotten because of other issues with it (the bad guitar arrangement, lack of choreo, the girl forgetting her rap).

Why would go to a concert of a group you dislike?

Some K-pop fans attend concerts of groups they dislike and then complain about how bad the concerts are, like you're not going to like them anyway, since you already don't like the group to begin with. I have seen this with Blackpink, aespa and bts. I know free will exists but all this does is bring in more negativity especially for the groups that get massive amounts of hate.

Which Idol do you think would have an amazing solo career if they consider it?

I think karina would have an amazing solo career if she ever decides to go solo. I think she has the charm and presence to be a solo artist and I think she could transition to acting as well.

The whole Lesserafim photo card situation made me wonder about how idols might feel when their photocard is much cheaper compared to their fellow members' photo cards.

Context: Recently, the prices of Lessera photocards went viral, with Chaewon's PC being the most expensive at [$420] and Yunjin's being the cheapest at [$50].

I wonder how idols must be feeling when they see the price difference.

Twice contrat

My opinion on the possible dissolution of Twice

I really don't think they'll break up; they might work under a contract, but not an exclusive one. I think they'll be in the same boat as Blackpink or Red Velvet.

However, I think it's better for them to disband, because when that happens they always neglect the group to focus on their solo careers, and when they reunite as a group...It feels more like an obligation than a family. It really wouldn't be so bad if they left JYP, because it's always the same and they never get real breaks to recover. That's precisely why it's better that they left. Another solution would be to change companies, but that always ends badly too. What do you think? What should Twice do, or what will its members do after?
