How do you deal with chuggers?
You know the sort, smartly dressed lads in their early 20s wearing a colourful tabard for some sort of charity that don’t seem to understand that “no” is a complete sentence
I had a particularly rude encounter with one in Wandsworth the other day, I was actively on the phone having a conversation and when one of them jogs across the centre to give me the “hey can I take a minute“ spiel, which I ignored, so the guy had the nerve to go “Oi!” at me! I’m not sure if it was an attempt at comedy that landed really poorly, but it took me aback a bit and I asked him what the fuck he’s playing at talking to people like that. He walked away and gave the exact same speech to the person behind me who was similarly disinterested
How do you deal with these cretins?
