Food Banks

Are food banks in the area reducing the amount of food they give out per visit?

I’ve used them in the past and it was usually a decent sized haul when I would go (around 10 years ago). Due to inflation and having my hours cut back, I recently found myself having to visit out of necessity. I noticed it was much smaller and the staff member said their traffic has increased but budget hasn’t.

Will food banks eventually shut down if food becomes too expensive? How are people surviving?
