Round of 16 = Round of 32?

With so many teams is the world cup now, do you perceive advancing to the round of 32 as big of an accomplishment as what advancing to the round of 16 used to be?

He actually made it. Pure African resilience as the iconic living statue superfan beats all the odds to get to the global stage.

Talk about absolute African resilience.

After all the heartbreaking visa drama and getting stuck in health quarantine that made him miss the opening events, Michel Nkuka Mboladinga, the legendary Lumumba Vea, has finally landed at the tournament.

If you do not know this man, he stands completely frozen for 90 straight minutes in a sharp suit and tie, channeling the spirit of independence hero Patrice Lumumba. The dedication is unreal. Every single African needs to put some serious respect on this man's name. His performance is a heavy reminder of Africa's long colonial struggles, turning history and the fight for freedom into living art on a global platform. Seeing our people reclaim our narrative like this is pure pride.

Seriously, this goes way beyond a game. It is about African visibility, strength, and showing the world what we are made of. We have survived the heaviest history, and we are still here standing tall. When one of us stands up, the whole continent rises. Let us drop the borders, show this man the respect he deserves, and stand together as one Africa.

Congrats Egypt on their first win ever.

Egypt finally got their first win in the history of the world cup. Congratulations!

Not too big of a surprise though. They took 3rd place in the last AFCON due to Senegal abandoning the competition.
