Still keeping it off 3yrs 6mos later
Went to a wedding this past weekend. Got to get dressed up. Even though I'd love to lose about 15-20 more pounds, I know I'm healthy.y surgeon says I'm healthy and at a good weight, so it is just a personal preference IF my body allows it. I have MS and was able to start jogging again (first time in TWELVE YEARS). I LOVE working out again. My second job, I work at an MLB ⚾ stadium and I climb stairs and walk about 7 miles per game... without being winded. Man o' man I feel good. This surgery was one of the best things that could have happened to me. Loving myself again is a life changer.
If you're on the fence....jump. yes, pre-op and post-op will be a lot of emotions but the finish line is worth it.
